Dogeared was born on the beautiful beaches of Southern California in 1991. Founder Marcia Maizel-Clarke believed jewelry could be both beautiful and meaningful, and her original idea to combine handcrafted charm necklaces with giftable carded messages, sparked an entirely new segment of the jewelry business.
Dogeared designs are timeless, special, and mindful. We believe that less is more, and are dedicated to the concept of slow fashion: the design and creation of year-round products made to last. Our design team infuses every style with enormous care and love. We obsess over every detail: proportion, quality, weight, chain choice, the perfect words, and more. When customers send us stories about beautiful ways that Dogeared impacted their lives, we get goosebumps, because it’s proof that all the little details matter!
