Jūratė Brown introduces modern, minimalist jewelry that is equal parts delicate and edgy, making a feminine, on-trend statement for everyday.
Jūratė Brown is a Los Angeles-based jewelry designer who grew up in Lithuania, inspired by the fairytale castles, winding rivers, and cobbled streets of her native land. Occupied by Russia during Jūratė’s early lifetime, design was almost non-existent, glossy magazines were hard to come by, and even money couldn’t give one access to the items displayed in those pages so she began making those things herself at a young age.
Jūratė began making jewelry in 2011, selling to local boutiques and private clients. With the launch of her Trend, JB Mini (matching adult-child sets), and Fine Jewelry lines, Jūratė introduces herself and brings her unique perspective and talent to the world.
In the communist-climate in which Jūratė was raised, everything had value. Even used paper was traded for practical goods such as canning jars and books. Jūratė applies this ingrained respect for the earth and this aversion to waste to her jewelry making. Every piece of Jūratė Brown jewelry is made by hand, from repurposed metals, in Los Angeles, California, with the utmost respect for the people, and for the environment.
